Barnwell – Virginia “Ann” Ray Williamson, 56 entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 25, 2019 at Aiken Regional Medical Center. A Graveside service will be held Sunday, March 31, 2019 at 4 p.m. at Green Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church, Barnwell, SC with the Rev. Timmy Gunnells officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service in the church sanctuary.
Ann was born July 5, 1962 in Barnwell County. She was the daughter of the late James Buist Ray and Virgie Ray of Barnwell. She was a Barnwell High School Graduate. She was a member of Green Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church. She devoted her time to taking care of her Mother and her precious granddaughters. She was a loving Mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her Mother Virgie Sanders Ray and one daughter Stephanie Gunnells. Three grandchildren, Kimberly, Summer and Lindsey Gunnells all of Barnwell.
She was predeceased in death by her husband James “Skip” Williamson and her father James Buist Ray. Maternal Grandparents, T. J. and Ethel Mae Sanders and Paternal Grandparents, Blease and Lib Ray.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to an expense account at Enterprise Bank in Barnwell.
The family has entrusted Dyches Funeral Home and Crematory with the arrangements.
